Contact Lenses

Contact lenses are great for helping you enjoy the full field of vision you were meant to have. Many people prefer the more natural appearance that contact lenses afford in comparison to glasses.

From the initial eye exam to learning how to fit your contacts and take care of them, our eye doctors will be there every step of the way to help you through the process.

Contact Options Include:

  • Soft Contact Lenses
  • Extended Wear Lenses
  • Disposable Lenses
  • Color / Cosmetic Lenses

We also highly recommend our Biotrue™ multi-purpose lens care solution. Biotrue™ is made to match the natural chemical balances of the human eye, which is the most effective way to keep your eyes clean, healthy and comfortable while wearing contacts.

Lens Enhancements

Lenses are available with a variety of features that improve your vision and enhance the comfort, protection and appearance of your eyewear.

  • Anti-Reflective–Anti-reflective (AR) treated lenses reduce glare and distracting reflections. Benefits include improved night vision and reduced eye fatigue. These lenses appear thinner and almost non-existent compared with normal lenses. Most AR treatments also include scratch-resistant protection.
  • Scratch Resistant–A specialized clear coating can be applied over the lens material to increase the scratch resistance.
  • Photochromic–Photochromic lenses change the level of tint on your lens according to the surrounding light to provide optimal comfort and reduce distracting glares.
  • UV Protection–Prolonged exposure to harmful UVA and UVB radiation over time can contribute to serious, age-related eye conditions or diseases. Some lens materials contain a UV filtering feature. This is typically found in many high index and impact-resistant lenses. For lenses that don’t contain UV filtering, a treatment can be applied to provide protection from harmful UV rays.
  • Mirrored–Mirrored treatments protect your eyes from glares of light and cause your glasses or sunglasses to have a reflective coating, hiding your eyes. There are a variety of color and style choices available.
